Children's Advanced Stitching Workshop - January School Holidays, Perth WA

Use embroidery thread and stitch your OWN design to take home and display.

Outcomes: Children will be able to:
* jazz up an embroidery hoop using Washi tape
* create a design or use one from Hoop Hoop Hooray
* trace design (using a light box) onto fabric
* use previously learned stitches e.g. back stitch, running stitch, split stitch, cross stitch, satin stitch

Threading needles, tying knots and using scissors is all such wonderful fine motor practice so the aim of Hoop Hoop Hooray is to supervise, facilitate and encourage students in a small group setting to achieve our artwork.
