Yankee Jack, the Musical.

The story of a young boy's journey from the streets of London to Nundle's Hills of Gold.

Based on the true life story of John Wright (aka "Yankee Jack") who made his own way from London to Hanging Rock as a boy to search for gold, and died a recluse aged 86.

The eight original tunes and ten scenes, written by local Mum and musician Toni Swain, give recognition to some of the characters that existed and events that occurred in the Nundle region from the 1850's to 1900's including Captain Madgwick, Ashton's Circus, Thunderbolt the Bushranger, and iconic establishments The Peel Inn and Odgers & McClelland Exchange Stores.

Performed by the Nundle Public Schoolchildren and featuring a professional live band playing instruments true to the era.

Show runs for approximately 1 hour.
