Parent-Child Mother Goose Gathering

Our Annual Gathering is a day of essential professional development and nurturing for anyone who is currently facilitating a Parent-Child Mother Goose program or who has completed the training to do so.

At this event, you will have an opportunity to make connections with others who are running Parent-Child Mother Goose programs, share songs, rhymes and stories, and participate in presentations. We'll also have a range of Canadian P-CMG resources available for sale at prices ranging from $16.50 to $33.00 (payable either by cash or by your direct EFT transfer on the day to our bank account).

We will have two presenters.

Kathrine Bray, from Parent Ease, has been working with young parents for over 35 years, and has been implementing Parent-Child Mother Goose programs since 2006. Kathrine currently embeds Parent-Child Mother Goose within two programs she runs for very young mothers attending a high school and community learning centre in Melbourne's southeast. She will speak about her experience and philosophy, and how her insights might be relevant to your own work.

Erin Bainbridge is a speech pathologist who has been working with pre-school aged children for twelve years. Erin currently works at the Royal Children’s Hospital Early Intervention Service where she specialises in helping the families of children with development delay or neurodevelopmental disabilities. Erin will be talking about Key Word Sign — what it is, and how and why you might use Key Word Sign in your Parent-Child Mother Goose circle.

In addition, our President, Gabrielle Macdonald, will be sharing information about:

• P-CMG and NDIS, and
• A new outcome measurement tool

Early bird discount

An early bird price of $100 is available for tickets purchased on or before Friday 28 September.

After that time, the regular price of $130 applies.

Start and finish times

The Gathering starts at 9.30 am and finishes at 4.00 pm.
