Women on the World Cartoon Awards & Exhibition

Hi to all fun lovers...

Join us at Australia's only cartoon gallery - the Bunker Cartoon Gallery in Coffs Harbour to celebrate International Women's Day - Thursday March 8, 2012 from 6pm.

Laugh with the women of the world as you enjoy the exhibition of cartoon works from women artists from around 30 countries who have entered the Women on the World International Cartoon Competition. The winners for 2012 will be announced on the night.

And be part of our great entertainment.

Straight from the coal fields of Newcastle comes a bit of gold - exuberant comedian, singer and raconteur, Denise Gold.  Deniiise holds a BA in Visual Arts and is right at home performing on the arts scene.  She's the comedian who even makes the cartoonists laugh and a woman who sings like a bird.  

Also on the night, the women on the Coffs Harbour Musical Theatre Company will perform a tribute to women of song.

This is a mixed event. Women are invited to bring husbands and partners along to celebrate International Women’s Day together.
