A part of the Connected Leadership Workshop series, Leadership in a Collaborative Environment, is a three day workshop which provides insights into both ourselves as leaders and our teams. This workshop is for leaders who are wanting to:

  • be clear about and live their personal values;
  • stay calm when things get tough;
  • understand the principals behind successful negotiation;
  • grow positive relationships with their team members; 
  • help team members navigate conflict successfully; and 
  • have productive difficult conversations.

Key topics include:

  • ‘bringing our best’ to the workplace – defining leadership qualities;
  • self-management;
  • foundations of ESI within leadership practice;
  • leadership responsibilities and accountabilities;
  • leading to enhance positive workplace behaviours;
  • effective conflict resolution;
  • positive performance management philosophy;
  • introduction to effective negotiation;
  • fostering collaborative relationships; and
  • managing difficult conversations.

Gary and Liz Lane are Psychologists who furnish a relaxed training environment that ensures delegates stay interested and engaged. Having provided workshops to Veterans and Emergency Services Personnel for over 20 years, our workshops are well suited for down to earth individuals, who want to better understand the psychological principles and practices that leaders to 'live our best' and connect with others. We teach from our life experience as well as our craft, making sure our workshops are conversational, meaningful, collaborative and in the right moments, fun.
