Get your dancing shoes on for a good old fashioned country bush dance that the whole family will enjoy. Hidden Treasures of the Great Southern has the Mucky Duck Bush Band playing at the Woodanilling Town Hall from 5pm to 9pm on Saturday 13 October.

You can just enjoy the music or dance the night away. Don’t know the steps? No worries, there’s someone there to call the moves and by the end of the night you will be an expert. There are dances to suit all ages and all levels of fitness so everyone can join in.

As WA’s premier bush band the Mucky Duck has been entertaining us since 1974. Wearing character costumes and playing authentic instruments they deliver a foot -tapping collection of folk songs that range from their own originals and the old favourites such as Waltzing Matilda and Botany Bay to the contemporary songs of John Williamson.

The Mucky Duck is supported by local musician Mike Louwen.

Food and drink are available for purchase from the Woodanilling P & C, and the Woody Men’s Shed contribute to the ambience with the decorations. There is free face painting for the kids. This is an event the whole family will enjoy, don’t miss it!
