‘Suburban Boy’ Dave Warner gained national recognition as a musician-songwriter with the 1977 gold album MUG’S GAME. Indeed Bob Dylan declared Warner his favourite Australian songwriter. Revered in both underground and mainstream music scenes alike, “Dave Warners from the suburbs” mix of story-telling, musical diversity and social commentary has cemented his reputation as a one-of-a-kind legend in the annals of Australian music history.

Promoting his new album “When?” (which features a band including members of Midnight oil, Mental as anything and Kevin Borich), The Bison Bar will host a very special intimate stripped-back performance of “Dave Warners from the suburbs”, on his first Queensland visit in over 30 years on Saturday 3rd of November.
