How labyrinths change lives

Tuesday November 13, 6 pm - 7 pm

Amelda Keys was first introduced to the many gifts of the labyrinth through her meditation group. With a background in Social Work, Health and more recently Pastoral Care, and deeply interested in building connection to the community, Amelda felt inspired to build a public labyrinth and to show people how to use it. She knew she had found her perfect location when she was presented with the opportunity to build a garden in the Gallery of Gardens.

The Labyrinth Garden, with a medieval Chartres labyrinth at its centre, is now a place where people can walk together or alone in a quiet contemplation or joyful celebration. Amelda and the ACT Labyrinth Network now hold and facilitate Sunday morning walks in the Labyrinth Garden on the last Sunday of each month.
