The SongCraft Symposium is a public examination of the catchiest ever subject matter - songwriting. Many people have tried songwriting, and many more have considered giving it a go - so how exactly does one go about bringing music into existence?

On December 2, we'll be exploring the process of creation with the inescapably talented James Fahy. With the voice of Jeff Buckley and a style all his own, James meticulously crafts songs into alt-pop gems that are rife with feeling and stay in your head for days. He'll be sharing his music as well insights from the process of songwriting and performance.

Hosted by music philosopher Joe Oppenheimer, together we'll be hunting down the essentials of songwriting. From melodies to mindset and messages, we'll celebrate the liberation that creative fluency can enable as the reward for showing up.
