Event Details

Learn how to work with embroidery thread and stitch a project to take home and display. 

Children may select from the following projects:

  • Dapper Dacshund
  • Cute Kawaii Cactus
  • Alexandra the Unicorn
  • Daisy the Cat
  • Liamosaurus
  • Cyril the Squirrel
  • Fergus the Fox

Outcomes: Children will be able to:

* thread a needle and knot the end
* complete basic stitches e.g. back stitch, running stitch, split stitch, cross stitch, satin stitch

Threading needles, tying knots and using scissors is all such wonderful fine motor practice so the aim of Hoop Hoop Hooray is to supervise, facilitate and encourage students in a small group setting to achieve our artwork.

Classes suitable for children approx. 7 years old and up - bring along your bestie, sis or bro!

PLEASE NOTE: Not all children achieve project completion during the workshop but will be provided with adequate knowledge and equipment to do so at home!

$35.00 per person (3 hour workshop) 

** Does not include Sticky Tickets booking fee. 

Includes adult tuition, light refreshments and workshop materials.

BOOKINGS ARE ESSENTIAL - Places are limited to 6 participants in the workshop to ensure adequate attention can be paid to all.
