DSLR Base Day Workshop 2 June

Base day involves Digital SLR workshops

aimed at furthering your skills and

understanding how to maximise the

potential of your Digital SLR. This

intensive day is equivalent to a 10 weeks

(one night/week) evening course.

*Note this workshop is aimed at Digital

SLR cameras or certain cameras which may

have fully manual controls or SLR like

features.

Suitable for

• Beginners

• Those who have recently purchased a New

Digital SLR.

• Those who have used a Digital SLR for

some time but use “Auto mode” and would

like to be able to have more control when

photographing.

Aspects covered

• Setting up your camera.

• Care and protecting your equipment. i.e.

sensor clean (easy when you know how)

card formatting etc.

• Finding your way around your camera

• Understanding Aperture (AV) Depth of

Field

• Understanding Shutter speed (TV), High

speed photography and low shutter sync.

• Using available light i.e. daylight.

• Using on board or extra flash - Fill flashbounce

flash etc.

• Working completely on manual (M).

• Camera white balance settings.

• Camera custom functions - can add a new

range of features to your camera &

photography.

• Downloading and filing of images.

(Digital Asset Management)

• Colour management.

• Print profiles and more...........
