An Online Workshop for Actors
Your voice is one of your greatest assets as an actor.
Whether you're performing in community theatre, preparing for auditions, studying acting, or looking to take the next step in your performance journey, this practical online workshop will help you develop greater vocal confidence, stronger stage presence, and more expressive performance.
Facilitated by internationally respected Voice & Performance Coach Laura Field, this interactive workshop explores the relationship between breath, body, and voice through practical exercises, demonstrations, and discussion.
Throughout the workshop, participants will explore three key areas:
• Breath & Focus – Moving from breath into sound, developing focus and freedom of vocal release.
• Physical Ease & Balance – Releasing unhelpful tension while developing greater physical and vocal flexibility and adaptability.
• Presence, Projection & Expression – Developing vocal resonance, texture, articulation, and projection to communicate character, text, and emotion with greater clarity, authenticity, and confidence.
Ideal for actors wishing to strengthen their vocal technique, build greater stage presence, and connect more effectively with an audience.
Participants will receive:
• Live interactive workshop via Zoom
• Replay access for a limited period
• Digital workshop resources
• Certificate of Participation
Suitable for actors of all experience levels, from community theatre performers through to experienced professionals looking to refine their vocal technique and stage presence.
Bring Your Own Text (Optional)
Participants are encouraged to bring a short piece of text they are currently rehearsing or preparing, such as a monologue, audition piece, script extract, or other spoken material.
If you don't have a piece to bring, texts will be provided.
