The End of the Rainbow by Geoff Bamber (Children's One Act Play performed by local children) 

It is a well-known fact that at the end of every rainbow there is a pot of gold placed there by a leprechaun. So the appearance of a rainbow presents a pair of inept robbers with a chance of easy pickings. They simply have to find the pot of gold before anyone else turns up to collect it. Unfortunately their efforts are frustrated by a succession of inconvenient visitors getting in the way. Ultimately, however, the arrival of a real life leprechaun confirms that they are, for once, in the right place at the right time. If only it were that simple.

Two drag artistes, Irma Geddon and Dee Light, share a dressing room for the first time. One, an old hand; the other, a newcomer to the profession. Will the old-timer give the benefit of his experience, or jeopardise the fledgling’s first flight into the unknown? A bitter-sweet comedy of trust and jealousy; frocks and frills.
