***LINEUP***

~Zeadala~

Zeadala is a South-West Sydney based poet and musician who avidly addresses themes of social inequality, politics and self-reflection in her works. The word Eadala itself is an Arabic one for justice- aligning with her desire to uphold fairness and equality and challenge stereotypes through being one voice for women of colour who are underrepresented in Australia’s media and music scene.

Performing since 2014, Zeadala has continued to challenge normative narratives across many stages with her unique style which carries simple yet rhythmic guitar compositions, powerful vocals and hauntingly honest lyrics. As a mixed-race artist with a background in Environmental Change Management, she is dynamic and relevant voice in our current political climate. It is no wonder she has supported international artists like Omar Offendum at his exclusive concert in Sydney and Akala at his artists and community talks as part of Sydney Ideas in 2017.

Having also been mentored by one of Sydney’s most respected female artists MC Trey, Zeadala effortlessly infuses soulful melodies, rhythm and poetry, to create hard hitting Hip Hop tracks that having been making waves over the past 2 years. She is currently working on her highly anticipated EP, set to release in early 2019.

~Goro~

GORO is the combined force of respected Blue Mountains and Sydney Hip Hop producers Caustic Yoda & Waza. Their sound blends improvisation with structure, mashing up live instruments, records & synths, with nods to early 2Dogs, The Wise Guys and DJ Shadow.

GORO is gearing up for the release of their debut EP THE DIFFUSER; A two-track installment to be released on limited edition 7” vinyl and digital formats on 27th September. The duo experiment with an unorthodox approach of songwriting: two separate programs of music, created individually, which sound complete in their own right, but when played together from the same stylus in the same groove create a new multi-faceted stereo soundscape.

THE DIFFUSER is this method put into practice. Kongou, the lead single, is a throwback to the funk of early B-Boy breaks filled with snappy drums and bouncing groove. The second track, Signals, is the journey to the dark side of the moon, packed with transmission

sound bites and post psych rock melodies.

~Lou Millar~

As vocalist for Sydney trio Twin Caverns, Lou Millar has carved themselves out as a voice to be listened to. A multi-instrumentalist in their solo form, they make ghost folk with their unmistakable ethereal voice at the helm. They just released a two track EP titled ""vandalism"", a very small collection of (anti) love songs and are working on their next full length release. Catch them at summer mix tape playing a range of old and new material
