Mithril Security is hosting two-day, face-to-face courses on security risk assessments, from basic principles to advanced concepts.

Every organisation is responsible for providing a safe and secure workplace. The SRA provides the information needed to manage security risks. It is the critical step in protecting the assets and functions with which the organisation has been entrusted.

This is for those new to security and experienced practitioners alike.

Attendees will gain an understanding of the fundamentals of a Security Risk Assessment and the ability to conduct or review an SRA, including stepping through a practical exercise.

Morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea are provided.

The presenter:

Don Williams CPP SRACP ASecM conducted his first security risk assessment in 1987. He has conducted and reviewed hundreds of SRA. He is a contributing author to the Security Risk Management Body of Knowledge, the Protection of Assets Manual and has authored over 150 publications. He has qualifications in Security Management, Risk Management, and Project and Resource Management. He is a Certified Protection Professional and a member of ASIS-International, the Institute of Explosive Engineers, the International Association of Bomb Technicians and Investigators (Distinguished Life Member) and the International Association of Protective Structures. He was awarded the Australian Security Medal by his peers for services to the profession.
