Ashlin Parker Quintet

Like the Pied Piper, acclaimed musician Ashlin Parker’s resonating trumpet sounds will draw music lovers to the green in Dunsborough when he takes over the tent on 1 June.

Hailing from New Orleans, Ashlin is a sought-after and versatile jazz trumpeter who has won a Grammy award with the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, and has performed with the likes of Ellis Marsalis, James Marsalis, and Aretha Franklin!

Ashlin is sought after for big band, small ensemble, and solo performances, playing festivals and performances around the world, and at Jazz by the Bay he’ll be playing in a quintet for a performance of jazz favourites. Expect high quality jazz straight from the streets of New Orleans. One of the greatest trumpeters in the world today.
