Event Details

This event is organised by Gifted WA for Gifted Awareness Week Australia 2019.

In conjunction with Mensa WA, you are invited to a family picnic at Heathcote Reserve, Duncraig Rd Applecross (Pirate playground). This is an opportunity to meet like-minded families, to connect, chat and share experiences and ideas. This is a free event, just bring your picnic and introduce yourself! (NB. If you are a Mensa member, please register through their FB page.)

PLUS, it's St Patrick's Day! Wear something green or bring green food to share a laugh together :)

Gifted Awareness Week Australia was founded by the Australian Association for the Education of the Gifted and Talented (AAEGT) to raise awareness of the identification, support and learning needs of gifted children and to celebrate the dedication of individuals and educational bodies who are making a difference in the lives of gifted children and their families. Gifted Awareness Week (GAW) 2019 will be held from the 17 to 23 of March and is centered on the national theme Belonging.  Check out the GAW Facebook page.
