A one-woman show incorporating a violin, electronic effects and a loop station, XANI is releasing her new single Grey from her forthcoming EP "4" due out later this year.

Always up for trying something new, XANI is recording her new music by herself using Ableton Live and a bunch of unconventional microphones. The new single Grey mixed by Isaac Barter (Didirri, Oh Pep!) is about grey areas in life's big questions.

Xani is a contemporary violinist and vocalist based in Melbourne who plays with the likes of Clare Bowditch, Kate Ceberano, Tim Rogers, Jens Lekman and Paul Grabowsky. A charismatic performer and lover of the entertainment arts, Xani is a musical force to be reckoned with.

K Mak invites you to look at her as she launches her new single Look at Me!

Originally a cellist, K Mak draws on her experience with Kanye West, Eminem, Archie Roach, Elena Kats-Chernin and Opera Queensland to bring you her art-pop creations.

Combining strings, piano, voice, electronics and drums, her works range from intimate post-classical chamber pieces to alternative electronic soundscapes to straight out pop. Plus anything in between.

Look at Me! Is a song about trying to catch the eye of a special someone, but things not going to plan. Aaaaah!
