Well regarded as one of Western Australia’s most talented and respected professional jazz vocalists, Ali has established herself as an unrivalled force in the local musical and artistic industry. A regular feature at The Ellington Jazz Club, Ali performs sold-out shows with her Quartet, Quintet and Trio, at Perth’s most anticipated events and throughout Western Australia.

A constant on the West Australian jazz festivals scene, Ali most recently performed at Jazz By the Bay in June 2018. Fresh from Fringe World Festival 2019, Ali performed with Jessie Gordon in their original show, Peggy & Judy, where Ali sang the songs of the legendary Judy Garland–this show won a Fringe Weekly Award.

In 2018 Ali was nominated for Best Cabaret for her show, From Bodycoat to Barbra-a dedication to Barbra Streisand, and won Best WA Cabaret for her original show, Minor Major Marlene-a tribute to Marlene Dietrich, at Fringe World 2017. 

Ali performed for the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra at the iconic Melbourne Town Hall in October 2018 and was guest vocalist with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra’s (WASO) EChO 2018 Education Week with renowned presenter/composer Paul Rissman. Ali has performed with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra, at the Annual New Years Eve Proms Concert at the Perth Concert Hall, Government House and throughout Western Australia in all guises-whether it be singing, MCing, hosting master classes or in a variety of line ups with her various jazz combinations. 

Ali has supported Marcia Hines, Vince Jones, Grace Knight, David Campbell and Kate Ceberano.
