“Music in the soul can be heard by the Universe” - Lao Tzu
This shining collaboration of multi APRA, ARIA and ASCAP award winning singers, musicians, composers and songwriters is a surrendering embrace to the songs and musical pieces that have steered their ships through the storm.
Billboard #1 songsmith and singer Ilan Kidron and his new band Glass Breakers (Jonathan Zwartz, Oliver Thorpe, Stu Hunter, Evan Mannell and Eddie Bronson) are joined by incandescent Camelot favourites duo Baby et Lulu (Abby Dobson and Lara Goodridge) and majestic Cantor George Mordechai as they seek solace in the songs that have accompanied them through the chaos of life, love and loss.
This tribute will feature original material and will also borrow from the rich and vast songbook of French chanson, Ladino, Nigun, pop electronica, folk, and punk rock-cabaret.
As a special production for Vivid Festival, “Chaos and the Nightingale” will also feature artist David Brook as he creates a live projection artwork to “dance” with the music.
