Details

There are many factors that can lead to a species becoming threatened, endangered or extinct in its native habitat. Learn about the different classifications of the International Union for Conservation of Nature. The National Arboretum has two species that are extinct in the wild. Visit these forests and many others to hear the stories behind the trees.

The walk will last around 2 hours and will need moderate fitness. Please wear sturdy footwear, bring water and dress for the weather conditions.

Meet at the Village Centre at 9.30 am.
