Come with us on an adventure to the historical town of Kurri Kurri!

Kurri Kurri is a small town in the Hunter region with an amazing collection of over 60 outdoor public artworks on display, showcasing the history and heritage of this region.

The murals provide a visual journey, telling the stories of the people, events and places that shaped the area’s unique character, culture and heritage.

An image of a kookaburra, the emblem of Kurri Kurri, is contained in each of the murals. See if you can spot them all!

Tickets are $10 and include transport, morning tea and a guided tour of the murals.

After the tour we will head to the Rotary Park for a photo with the Big Kookaburra and some lunch before jumping back on the bus.

The bus will depart from the Design Bus Stop, Callaghan campus at 9:45am.

Please Bring:

  • A picnic lunch, or money to purchase lunch
  • Water
  • Sun protection
  • Comfortable walking shoes

Important: If purchasing a ticket for a friend, please be sure to put their name and details on their ticket. as we need to be able to identify all participants correctly.

Ticket cancellations within 48hrs of the event will not be refundable

Refund Policy

Refunds up to 3 days before the event, A full refund can be provided when 48 hours notice has been provided.
