MIRIAM LIEBERMAN TRIO - JUST TRANSFORMING - ALBUM RELEASE
“Her songs are beautifully melodic, richly textured but can have pointed themes…. Simply brilliant" 4.5 stars, Jeff Glorfeld, The Age
Miriam Lieberman and her trio - Lara Goodridge ( Baby et Lulu / Fourplay ) and Susie Bishop ( (Chaika) will be releasing Miriam’s much anticipated new all originals album Just Transforming at Django Camelot on Sunday 30th May. Written and recorded during the height of the Covid pandemic these are a collection of songs about our incredible, fragile planet, about becoming a mum, about imagination and about our need for each other.
Miriam’s albums are soulful collections of stories, beautifully told through strings - kora ( West African harp) soaring violin arrangements, guitar, lush vocal harmonies and Lieberman’s unmistakable voice. With a world wise flavour the music has a catchiness and contemporary tone that is entirely it’s own.
Albums will be available on the night.
No refund, Tickets are non-refundable except as specified in the Entertainment Industry Code of Fair Practice.
