A workshop for actors aged 12 - 16 years

The best way to truly learn and remember a skill is to teach it to someone else. In this workshop our actors will have the opportunity to put this into practice by looking at the craft of acting through the eyes of a director. As a director we must explore and understand the big picture of a performance text, not just an individual role. When an actor learns to approach rehearsing as a director might, it leads to greater collaboration and elevated performances. In this workshop actors will have the opportunity to work on short scenes, both as an actor and a director, to learn and develop these advanced skills, and have a lot of fun and laughs as we do.
