SIERRA NOBLE (CANADA)

Entering the music industry at a young age can have profound effects on an artist’s personal and professional journey, and Sierra Noble knows this well. The Winnipeg singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, released their first album of traditional Métis fiddle music as a teenager, followed by the well-received Possibilities, and later, City of Ghosts. Over the course of these albums Noble honed their skills as a songwriter while garnering widespread attention, which led them to opening for Paul McCartney, Bon Jovi, and Johnny Reid, and as a featured performer for the 2010 Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony. Noble’s original music has been included in TV shows such as One Tree Hill, Switched at Birth, and Parenthood, and in films such as CBC’s Humboldt: The New Season, 40 Weeks, and Fostering Hope.

“Let Me Out of Here” is the first single from the new Sierra Noble. In its crystalline melodies and epic poise, Noble sings of smiling through teeth in response to the unwelcomed opinions and judgments of others. But they know what they need – freedom to follow their path and be released from all that’s kept them down – and the song’s title is their powerful declaration of that.

HANNAH ACFIELD

“A beautiful voice” – Joan Armatrading

Melbourne singer-songwriter Hannah Acfield is an exquisite singer & sophisticated songwriter, delivering emotive songs on electric guitar. Marrying authenticity and musicality with humour, she connects and uplifts the audience from the moment she takes the stage. Acfield delivers soulful, roots music infused with a hint of gospel.

The release of debut solo LP No Light Without Shade, has been Acfield’s blossoming. A sense of freedom, of power and fluidity, define a record dubbed a “masterpiece” (Francesca de Valence) and a “triumph of talent” (Phil Stafford, The Australian); a record with which Acfield moves beyond the folk demesne that defined her early career, and into a new realm that is hers and hers alone, her otherworldly voice and poignant writing heralding the arrival of an Australian singer-songwriter of serious note. Hannah is currently touring her newly released live album "Live at The Aviary".

ANDREA KIRWIN

“Andrea Kirwin has a rare voice that runs deep....deep enough to carry you back to an era where
the way an artist delivered their message
was everything.” - LIOR

"When I heard Andrea I was totally excited to hear such a competent, unique and exciting new songwriter. It is one of the joys of being a musician, traveling the globe and hearing exciting music that I wouldn’t have found at home, yet it is a rare joy. I find there are many competent yet mediocre musicians out there and Andrea was way above anything I had heard for a long long time." - KRISTINA OLSEN

Andrea has released 5 independent albums under her record label Peace Run Records since 2013. Whether solo or with her big band, Andrea Kirwin and the Yama-Nui Social Club, Andrea has impressed audiences both in Australia and New Zealand with her heartfelt songs, incredible vocals and engaging shows over the past 15 years. With Influences such as Tracy Chapman, Carole King and Eva Cassidy, Andrea has crafted her own personal style which she describes as 'Island Soul' and her live performances are both entertaining and uplifting and are a joy to experience. With many stories from her multicultural upbringing in Townsville as the daughter of a Fijian Church minister, to living in Fiji in her mother's village of Levukaidaku, Matuku and dropping out of an Arts/Law degree at Australian National University to become a full time touring singer-songwriter, Andrea continues to forge a unique path within the Australian music industry as a self-managed independent artist running her own record label, agency and events company Peace Run Records from her home town of Nambour on the Sunshine Coast.
