300 Joules are coming back to the TA! Come watch them live on Friday 12th December from 8pm!
300 Joules was created by Dr Jonathan Martin (lead guitar and vocals) and Dr Cameron Singleton (bass) in 2023 as music therapy to relieve the stress of their busy careers as Adelaide medical specialists.
Fired by a passion for rock and blues music, they have since been joined by Drs Peter Tyllis (drums), Adrian Chung (guitar and keys), Charles Cock (guitar and vocals) and Prof. David Cropley (Lead vocals and harmonica).
Along with their own songs, they play covers of well-known rock and blues hits from bands like The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix, Santana, U2, The Georgia Satellites, The Kinks, Phil Collins, The Doors, Foo Fighters etc.
The philosophy of the band is that music is for everyone. As the name implies, we are here to get your heart started and judging by the reaction of audiences in the pubs and clubs of Adelaide, 300 Joules can do just that!
