LEE JONES (UK) QUINTET

UK jazz guitarist/ composer LEE JONES combinies influences from modern jazz, fusion, blues, avant-garde &  rock. A regular performer on the UK scene, Lee has recorded/ performed/ studied alongside Larry Coryell, Martin Taylor & Mike Stern. Since graduating from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Jazz Course in 2007, he has released seven solo albums with former WEA producer Simon Tittley & in 2019 completed a PhD in music composition at the University of Salford, Manchester.  Lee is also active within music education/ research.

Following the release of his latest solo guitar project, A World Away, Lee is touring Australia & Japan in early 2025. Tonight, Lee will be reuniting with a very special Sydney-based line-up to perform a selection of jazz-rock original music from his three ensemble albums, Swish, Songs from the 13th Hour & After The Pier.
