R.E.D. EXPERIMENT + THE SHAPE SHIFT (DOUBLE BILL)

R.E.D. EXPERIMENT are a nu jazz, R&B & neo-soul trio consisting of SEAN EGAN on bass, EMILY RIGGS on guitar & GIORGIA DI GIROLAMO on drums & synthesizer. The band's ethos revolves around exploration & innovation. Their sound isn't bound by convention; instead, they push the boundaries of modern music with complex harmony, odd time & improvisation. In 2024 R.E.D Experiment released a series of modern jazz rearrangements & original tracks featuring Italian singer ROSSELLA FANELLI.  

Their performances are a journey through an evolving soundscape, offering an immersive experience where listeners lose themselves in the rich layers of sound.  R.E.D Experiment also performs regularly with a collection of feature artists from Sydney’s jazz scene, which often evolves into a free jam with musicians jumping up to share the stage.

Members of The Shape Shift have performed in venues across Sydney, as well as the stages of Bali Indonesia, the Streets of Seoul & the Basement bars of New York. A mix of originals, covers & improvisation, you are sure to enjoy this fusion of sound.
