Join professional Spoon Smith, Jeff Donne, for half a day of carving your own wooden cutlery using a small knife or two.

Carve a small eating or sugar spoon straight from a tree using traditional skills and experience the blissful feeling of whittling away the hours at an unhurried pace.

Learn about sourcing sustainable materials, the basics of traditional tool use, and how to safely turn a log into your favourite wooden utensil.

Workshop runs from 9am to 1pm in our Terrace room.

No experience is needed and all tools, materials and a leather apron are provided. All you need to bring is you, a pair of covered shoes and a willingness to whittle. Please bring your own food or purchase from our Sprout Café.

Suitable for 16 +
