Event Details

Bunbury Men of Song are excited to present 'The LightHouse Sings' with the critically claimed Brisbane Birralee Singers.

Voices of Birralee is acknowledged as one of Australia’s finest youth arts organisations, based in Brisbane and has been creating opportunities for young people to discover the joy of singing since 1995. On and off the stage, Voices of Birralee provides an arena to develop confident young people through their love of music. In addition to an extensive international and national touring program, they enjoy performing at professional, civic and community events which enrich the lives of their young members and support humanitarian causes.

The Birralee Singers are an exciting and disciplined children’s ensemble made up of keen young musicians who love to sing. They sing a wide range of music styles and languages from various parts of the world, but most of all, love celebrating their Aussie heritage by singing new Australian music. Highlights of the Birralee Singers program includes performing at a number of Brisbane events, both managed by Voices of Birralee and externally, along with touring every second year.

Birralee Singers range in age from 10-13 years, however, the 44-piece touring ensemble also consists of additional older singers, who join us for this tour to extend their leadership experiences. They are thrilled to be in Western Australia for this year’s tour.
