Supporting our LGBTIQ and non-binary young people*
Join our information session on supporting our *lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and gender diverse, intersex, queer and non-binary children and young people. Increasing numbers of children and young people are identifying as queer, gender questioning, gender diverse, non-binary or transgender.
Parents and family members can often feel overwhelmed and under resourced. This session introduces ideas of sexuality, gender and identity formation and discusses the struggles that some parents and families face in responding to and supporting their child or young person. It also provides an opportunity to explore some of the essential information and skills needed for parents and family members of LGBTIQ+ young people. All questions will be answered!
