Join us at Lake Macquarie Regional Football Facility for the Hunter Walk to Remember through Speers Point Park, a beautiful opportunity to love and connect, to honour and remember the babies and children who are no longer with us. We'll be meeting from 1:30pm for a 2:00pm ceremony.

The Walk to Remember is a long-running annual event in the Sands, and now Red Nose, community, and this year's will be the second held in the Hunter . The formal remembrance service includes readings and reflections from local bereaved families, an opportunity for guests to publicly share the name of the little one/s they are remembering , a shared time of reflection and remembrance in our Pinwheel Ceremony and of course the symbolic Walk to Remember itself - taking the footsteps our babies could not.

We invite you to join us afterwards to remember and connect with other bereaved families - there is a cafe on-site to purchase afternoon tea, and an outdoor area for children to play. 

The Walk to Remember is a tradition that is linked to Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day/Month. We invite all bereaved Red Nose families to come along and remember their little ones, recognising that we have all experienced loss and that all our babies and children have missed out on very important steps with their families.
