How to Change and Win

What if you had the opportunity to learn from a business book with the following statistics?

Amazon.com #1 all-time bestselling book in its first 10 years of history 309 weeks on USA Today bestseller list Has sold more than 22 million copies worldwide Has become China ’s all-time bestselling translated work with sales of over 2 million copies #1 bestselling book in Japan ’s history by non-Japanese author (4.5 million copies).

This book is Spencer Johnson’s “Who Moved My Cheese? – An Amazing Way to Deal with Change”

The book is a story about change, an entertaining parable which helps us gain insight about how we react to change.   Spencer Johnson is described as the best there is at taking complex subjects and presenting simple solutions that work.   The story involves four characters searching for cheese in a maze.

Barry McMaster will present a workshop this week that explores the depth of understanding that we can glean from such a simple story.   For those who have not read the book we will start with a short film that enacts the story of the book.

Based on the discussion that follows you will learn:

    ·          The Four Change Skills

    1.        Anticipating Change

    2.        Taking New Actions Now

    3.        Moving Beyond Fear

    4.        Imaging Real Success

The Journey of Loss & Gain

In the past, change was an event businesses had the luxury of preparing for.   Today, change is the way business gets done.

Based on the belief that businesses don't change, people change - we will look at how individuals can gain the skills to deal with change quicker and more effectively, resulting in businesses that move ahead and gain a competitive advantage.

With everyone focused on making the change happen and actively looking for something better, new ideas and creative solutions start to surface.
