This expert led workshop details Australian Government requirements for design, construction and management of security zones.

Attendees will learn to:

• Develop security zone risk assessments

• Advise on site selection

• Implement project and construction security

• Identify physical security requirements of security zones, ICT facilities and Class A, B & C rooms

• Liaise with security specialists for acoustic security, security alarm systems, detection devices keying systems, locking devices, electronic access control systems and containers

• Conduct protective security inspections

• Facilitate Technical Surveillance Counter Measures (TSCM) inspections

• Develop and implement security zone plans and procedures

• Conduct and document security zone certification and accreditation

• Enable ongoing management and maintenance of security zones

Delivery is by via online classroom. Sessions run from 9:30am to 2:30pm, Monday to Wednesday over two weeks. Some out of session work is expected.
