Fodder For the Future - Dairy Farmer: Fodder Purchasing Workshop

Riverine Plains are hosting a workshop for dairy producers interested in securing a reliable fodder source and having input into the quality of fodder produced by their suppliers.

The workshop is part of a series supported by Murray Dairy, which aims to help grain and dairy farmers connect as buyers and sellers of high-quality fodder and create linkages to improve the supply, availability and reliability of locally-produced fodder.

The Workshop will cover:

• Securing a reliable fodder source.
• Having input into the quality of fodder produced by a supplier.
• The potential benefits and barriers to establishing a direct, long-term link with a fodder producer (benefits, risks and things to look out for)
• Maintaining the seller/buyer relationship long-term 

Additional workshops (for both fodder buyers and sellers) are also planned for late January/early February 2022.

Please note that this is a COVID-safe event. Participants will be required to check-in and follow any Victorian State Government regulations that are applicable at the time of the event.
