Souths Merewether Platinum Gala Celebration

This year marks a remarkable milestone — 70 years of Souths Merewether — and we’re inviting you to join us for a night of celebration, laughter, and community spirit at our Platinum Gala.

Guests will enjoy a three-course dining experience designed to delight:

Entrées

• Seared Scallops – Finished with burnt butter, basil, garlic & a touch of lemon
• Sticky Pork Belly – Glazed with chilli jam, served on fresh pomegranate & coriander salad

Mains

• Hunter Valley Grass-Fed Eye Fillet – Wrapped in crisp bacon with a silky béarnaise sauce
• Herb-Seared Salmon – Drizzled with hot honey sauce, served with Asian greens & steamed rice

Desserts

• Vanilla Crème Brûlée – Delicately caramelised, with fresh strawberries & whipped cream
• Triple Chocolate Indulgence – A decadent trio of mud cake, chocolate mousse & rich chocolate ganache, served with strawberries & whipped cream

All this will be paired with a 3.5-hour Platinum Drinks Package, featuring premium wines, beers, and sparkling.

And because no celebration is complete without music, the evening will feature live entertainment from Fish Fry and Pow Wow, guaranteed to have you on your feet and dancing the night away.
