While the medical system is kicking into full gear to fight against COVID, we would like to thank you for helping the system continue to care for patients whether in an AIM role or your clinical placement.

As your internship is fast approaching, you’re probably equal parts nervous and excited. To help you best prepare for your internship, we’re holding a “Quick Talks” Webinar "Things I Wish I Knew Before I Started My Internship". We have asked three of our amazing Doctor-in-Training members to offer some thoughts on what they wish they knew when they began their internship and what it means to train during a pandemic:

  • Dr Ashna Basu, RMO and RMOA President of POW Hospital
  • Dr Lucie Robson, Intern at Maitland Hospital
  • Dr Eklavya Wangoo, Intern at Westmead Hospital

Register online now or email us if you have any questions.

AMA (NSW) is your professional association, and we advocate for issues that matter most for doctors-in-training. We can provide individual support to assist you with your workplace matters and look after you during the pandemic and in your everyday working life. Get in touch via email or phone 02 9439 8822.
