Join Justin and Lorroi Kirkby of Amarula Dorpers as they discuss how they have transformed their once degraded property into a productive and profitable enterprise through the use of more sustainable farming practices including Multi-Species pastures, controlled grazing and the benefits of increasing on farm biodiversity.
Paddock walks will feature in this workshop so that you can see first hand the condition of the soil and stock, and view the multi species pastures and biodiversity improvements incorporated into the Kirkby's enterprise.
Amarula Dorpers were announced the National Landcare Farmers of the Year in 2021, with Justin also being a finalist in the prestigious Bob Hawke Landcare Award the same year. Both Justin and Lorroi are keen to share what they have learnt over the years and to help you learn how to reduce your inputs, improve your soil health and increase your profitability.
