Immunisation Updates and Practice Nurse Education Day 2023 - Wagga Wagga

MPHN in partnership with Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD), National Centre for Immunisation Research and Surveillance (NCIRS) and the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) will host the annual Immunisation Updates sessions in Wagga Wagga - 4^th August and Deniliquin - 9^th August.

This year as well as our Immunisation Updates from Public Health, NCIRS and AIR, we are expanding our education day to a full day session that will include education on other services throughout MPHN and MLHD that are significant to General Practice and Residential aged care nurses. The topics include:

Health Pathways

Aboriginal health

Community care intake and

Wound care

We will also be offering CPR and BSL to practice nurses who need to complete their annual training –this component will have limited spaces available and will be allocated on a first in first served basis. To register your interest please contact Jane Arentz via email: jane.arentz@mphn.org.au.

There will be no virtual component to this year’s event. Wagga Wagga session will be recorded and available to watch on demand for those that cannot attend face to face sessions.
