Radio Laria Poetry with Amanda Anastasi

This August, Radio Laria is featuring a fantastic poet: Amanda Anastasi.  Amanda Anastasi is wonderful poet, passionate climate activist and convenes the highly popular La Mama Poetica.  She is one of the organisers of the upcoming Sonic Poetry Festival, and why not get yourself warmed up for the festival by coming along to hear just how amazingly good she is? 

Doors open 7pm and the live poetry kicks off at 7:30

We are also looking forward to the open mic where poets, storytellers and writers of all kinds are encouraged to share their work. All genders are welcome to read, sign up on the night, 10 slots available and a 5 minute limit. The audience is very supportive and we welcome new readers. Come along and join this warm, vibrant poetry community and don't forget about Open Studio's yummy crepes!

Gemma White was originally meant to be performing at this gig, but due to unforeseen circumstances, she has had to pull out.  We wish Gemma all the best and look forward to her featuring another Radio Laria night.
