Walcha - Better Heifers, Better Joiners, Better Join

North West and Northern Tablelands Local Land Services have come together to bring you information to improve cattle breeding management with a focus on maximising heifer production. This practical one day workshop will feature guest presenter Jason Tromp as well as LLS Livestock Officers who will cover the latest in heifer management to ensure females are set up for longevity within the breeding herd. Jason Tromp has spent a lifetime in sheep and beef industries. Coming from Victoria, where he is involved in a self replacing high productivity operation and a successful consultancy, Jason has both practical and industry experience. Many may know Jason from the very successful MLA Bred Well Fed Well program.

This one day session will also cover bull selection and genetics.
