CLEWS presents What’s Not to Love?
On Friday the 13th of February, we’re playing one special hometown show to celebrate the release of our debut album ‘What’s Not To Love?’.
Like Juliette in her Venetian tomb, we will sing songs from the album surrounded by the red velvet interiors of Milton Theatre. Special guests, and limited album merch will also make appearances.
We’ve hand-picked this beautiful venue (I mean, where else?!) for our beautiful hometown crowd.
The show is CLEWS in duo mode followed by a full band set.
+++
Sisters Lily and Grace Richardson (CLEWS) make candied, country-infused indie sparkling with lush sibling harmonies.
Since they burst onto the scene with their 2018 debut ‘Museum’, Mollymook natives CLEWS have released two beautiful EPs with strong editorial support from triple j and DSPs, launched their beloved podcast ‘Love Clews’ and performed 3 headline tours of the UK, Europe and Australia. They have been a top 40 finalist in the renowned Vanda & Young songwriting competition, played at Tasmania’s Dark Mofo, VIVID Sydney, showcased at BIGSOUND and SXSW Sydney, supported DMA’S, Ocean Alley, Boy & Bear, Tash Sultana, Albert Hammond Jr. (USA), LAUREL (UK), and have lent their harmonies to many triple j Like A Versions. Their debut album 'What's Not To Love?' offers love songs for a hurting world.
The siblings continue to invite a growing family of fans into their world of lyrically-sophisticated songs that mine themes of growing up, moving away, and learning to love.
