A Conversation for Parents and Carers of Trans and Gender Diverse Young People

This is a 90 minute forum for parents and carers of trans and gender diverse (TGD) children and young people (this includes non-binary and other gender experiences). The intent is that TGD young people are not present, so as to create a safe space where questions can be raised and issues discussed without young TGD people being exposed to any potentially uncomfortable content. This is intended as a safe place for parents and carers to learn more, ask questions, discuss any concerns, share their stories and connect with one another.

The forum will be facilitated by Dragan Zan Wright, a transgender non-binary psychotherapist and educator who works with complex trauma and gender, sexuality and relationship diversity. He conducts therapeutic and supervision sessions online and also has a private practice in Ballina, NSW. Dragan will be sharing some information and resources on the night.
