Event Details

With support from the Local Land Services, through the Making Central Inland Glossies Great Again project, Central West Lachlan Landcare are looking forward to hosting a Get to know the Glossy Black Cockatoo workshop in Parkes.

This Free workshop is funded by the NSW Government’s Saving our Species program and the NSW Environmental Trust and with the support of Parkes Shire Council and the Lachlan Valley Branch of the National Parks Association.

The day will commence at 9am, with a presentation from Warren Chad (Chaddy), an overview of the Glossy Black project from Local Land Services staff and then we will head out to Lake Metcalfe to talk further about Glossy Black habitat, undertake some bird observation and a bird count and finish up around 1pm with BYO lunch at Lake Metcalfe.
