Kevin Bennett & Kevin Welch Songwriting Workshop

Rolling Wheel Studios are very proud to present a songwriting workshop with two of the countries most celebrated singer songwriters, Kevin Bennett (the Flood, Bennett Urquhart and Bowtell) and Kevin Welch (Kane & Welch).

The six-hour workshop will be presented at Rolling Wheel Studios main studio and will feature both songwriters presenting their techniques and inspirations on songwriting. 

Starting with a 9am meet and greet with the Kevin's over tea and coffee provided. 

Our guests will take part in songwriting exercises and discussions with both presenters splitting into two groups at one point to create songs as an exercise.

Lunch provided at 12.30-1pm (Light lunch of sandwiches and refreshments). Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements. We are more than happy to make sure you are looked after.

After lunch the workshop will continue with our presenters showing some of their favourite original tunes and explaining their inspiration for the songs.

Kevin Bennett is a Golden Guitar award recipient for his songwriting and has placed his songs with numerous musicians over his career.

Kevin Bennett has written songs for over 40 years for artists like: Roger Miller, Waylon Jennings, Patty Loveless, the Judds, Linda Ronstadt, Garth Brooks and was the songwriter of Chris Stapleton's hit "Millionaire" which went to #2 on the CMA country charts in the U.S.

This workshop is an ideal present for yourself and/or a loved one who writes songs and would love a gift of a six hour course with two of the best songwriters in the country.
