Sonic Ctrl's music has been described as eclectic '90s indie rock that blends hard edged guitar drive with sweet melodies, with thrashy overtones & a bit of punk attitude. Inspirations range from Australian acoustic folk duo Angus & Julia Stone, The Black Keys, The Replacements, plus a tasty dose of Metallica. Their originals swing from acoustic numbers to loud-ass rock. Whatever the story requires.

KELLY WALSHE, the band's main voice & guitarist, writes songs from the heart & mind. Her voice can turn from smooth & sultry to flamethrower on a dime. CHRIS BANICK adds a second voice, & bass, to the mix & contributes to the songwriting by bringing the punk edge. DANIEL PETER tops the mix with chiming guitar & searing leads while TIM WALSHE builds the energy & keeps it all together. You won’t feel like you are hearing the same song over & over.
