AAC Assessment & Implementation Full Day Training 

This is a 6-hour face to face, hands on training on assessment and implementation for AAC. Participants will get access to a range of communication devices and software.

Participants will learn about:

• Considerations and tools for AAC assessment
• Using the SETT framework
• Feature matching with hands-on exploration of different language systems
• Goal setting
• Foundational AAC implementation strategies
• Practical strategies and tools for implementing AAC in different environments
• Supporting communication partners
• Data collection and reviewing progress

This training is designed for:

• Speech Pathologists supporting AAC Communicators

This is a face-to-face training events held over 6 hours. This session will not be recorded or offered online.
