Here's a blurb about this unmissable show:
Ollie McGill, acclaimed pianist and founding member of Australian band The Cat Empire, has built a reputation for his expressive and expansive compositions. His work spans international collaborations, studio sessions, and a growing catalogue of solo releases.
The musical project JATT came to fruition in 2012 by Drummer Percussionist Darren Evans.
Weaving amongst a web of collaborative journeys Evans has continued to write and produce his own music featuring long-time collaborators including Ollie McGill, Rick Fenn of 10CC and Jeff Martin of The Tea Party band.
McGill’s and Evans’ creative partnership spawned in the late 2000’s and has now led the artists to perform together as solo and fellow musicians.
The upcoming series of intimate shows will open with McGill performing, showcasing unreleased pieces alongside works from his latest album Beach House.
The night continues with Evans and McGill delivering highlights from previous JATT releases and new pieces from the forthcoming 2026 album Impossible Sun. On stage joining them will be Thomas Veitch on Cello and Gabor Josika on guitar.
