In 2019, became a member of the World Health Organisation’s Global Network and set out to become an age-friendly community.
At the beginning of this process, we conducted an Age-Friendly survey in 2020 to understand our baseline and the feedback obtained helped create the Knox Child, Youth and Seniors Plan 2021-2025.
Three years later, we issued a second survey and received 627 responses. The purpose was to assess if there have been any improvements in the age-friendliness of Knox as per the eight interconnected domains of urban life.
The 2023 survey data has been analysed and a number of themes of have presented, for which we would like to explore through a series of small group sessions.
Note: places are limited, so please let us know if you are no longer able to attend, so that we can offer the opportunity to someone else.
