There are new items on display in the Library's Treasures Gallery and we're hosting a mid-winter celebration!

Join us for a glass of bubbles, live piano music and hear from two of our curators about their three favorite things in the Treasures Gallery. This is a wonderful chance for new Friends members to mingle - bring a Friend or make a new one!

Our galleries will be open for you to explore and the curators will be available to answer questions. Light refreshments will be served following the curator talk.

New exhibits in the gallery include a display about Garigal man Bungaree and Murro-ore-dial woman Kaaroo, a rare oil painting by Ellis Rowan (nla.obj-138089294, pictured) James Cook’s journal from the Endeavour voyage, and a display about the reform of anti-gay laws in Australia.

Spaces are limited, we recommend securing your tickets early for this special event.
